Is Lexora AI free?
Yes. The reader, the scanner and 40+ PDF, Word and image tools are completely free and run in your browser. Optional extras cost money: AI companion plans start at ₹49, and a few heavy-duty ★ premium tools give you 50 free pages a day, then about ₹0.10 a page from your wallet.
Do my files leave my device?
For the free tools — never. They are processed 100% in your browser. A few premium tools and the optional Deep Research mode run on our secure server; those always show a consent screen first, and anything uploaded is deleted after the job or when you close the document. What can the AI companion do?
It reads any document aloud with karaoke highlighting, answers questions about it, explains selected text, summarizes pages, finds topics, and follows voice commands like "go to page three". It understands your document on your device and sends the AI engine only your question plus the few passages that matter.
What do the AI plans cost?
Spark is free with a daily limit. Swift is ₹49 and Sage is ₹99 — both come with a token wallet, and Sage adds web search. You can also top up a universal ₹ wallet and buy plans straight from it.
How do the ★ premium tools work?
They run on our secure server for jobs the browser can't do in HD — like PDF to Excel or translating a PDF. 50 free pages per tool per day; past that about ₹0.10 a page, always shown and approved before anything is uploaded.
Which formats are supported?
PDF, Word (.docx), PowerPoint, Excel, images (JPG/PNG), plain text, Markdown and webpages — see all tools.
Can I scan paper documents?
Yes — the Scan page turns your camera into a document scanner with automatic edge detection and straightening, entirely in your browser.
Do I need an account?
Not for the free tools or guest reading. Logging in unlocks the AI companion, syncs your wallet, and removes the anonymous daily page caps on premium tools.
Is my payment information safe?
Payments are processed by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant). We never see or store your card details.
